Champs21.com is an education project of The Daily Star and the pioneer E-Learning service of Bangladesh. Champs21.com is a unique initiative of today’s Internet era and created an opportunity to educate the future generation of Bangladesh in different but effective way. After the launch, Champs21.com is continuously expanding its horizon and therefore requires to recruit few qualified & experienced individuals to strengthen its Programming Department.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Job Posting – PHP Programmer
- B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science from reputed local or international university.
- 2 to 4 years experience is required in the following area:
PHP5 with OOP features, MySQL and Oracle (recommended).
- Experience with LAMP environment, Java, Apache Tomcat, Maven, JBoss, Java Server Pages (JSP) and Servlets is highly desirable.
- Must have proficiency in MySQL, MSSQL.
- Proficiency with front-end scripting including: HTML5, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML.
- Understanding and demonstrated adaptation of cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility concerns
- Professional Web application development experience in building database-driven applications and Web sites.
- Experience with an MVC framework such as Zend, Codeigniter, CakePHP or similar is highly desirable.
- Experience in the field of Flash/FLEX development using AS3 will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in AJAX, div based (table-less/fluid design) development is preferred
- Must have knowledge in jQuery, YUI, KendoUI, Prototype, Sencha Framework.
- Familiar with 3rd Party E-Commerce application Like Magento
- Familiar with IDE, like Ecliesp, Netbeans etc
- Must be initiative, creative, innovative, quick learner and a team player.
- Must be structured person with strong analytical skills.
